A comic I’ve been working on this past month for my mix media final. This is the first comic I’ve made that is larger than a comic strip so it’s not super great, but yeah. Jesus: Hola. Si. This is he. Si. Porque? Si. Donde estas?
Tony: Jesus! You came.
Jesus: Of course. Where is he?
Tony: In the back.
Jesus: Thank you so much for calling me, by the way.
Tony: Oh, it’s the least i could do after what happened with Maria.
Jesus: …Maria?
Tony: You haven’t heard?
Tony: Maria was snatched up by the cartel last month, and there hasn’t been any talk of ransom. So, everyone is pretty much assuming the same thing. I don’t usually see Pino at these types of things. I’m assuming this situation has pushed him over the edge. I’m surprised he hasn’t told you about it.
Jesus: Pino doesn’t talk much.
Tony: Yea, no kidding. But, i just figured since you’re so close…
Jesus: I wouldn’t really say Pino is really close to anyone.
Tony: Pino, your ride is here!
Pino: Hey.
Pino: Haven’t seen you in awhile, Tiger. WOOAAH.
Jesus: Thanks again for calling me.
Tony: De nada
Pino: I feel like I’m a princess.
Jesus: I think we’re going to head out now.
Tony: Alright. Drive safe then.
Jesus: I will.
Pino: mmmwhy’re you carrying me? mmmnot that wasted. I can walk y’know. AHHKOOWW

Jesus: what are you doing here, Pino? Huh? Tony told me you tried to drive home.
Pino: I’m very good friver. Been driving since i was 13.
Jesus: No one is a safe driver when they’ve been drinking.
Pino: SHUTUUUUP! You sound like one of those ‘nnoying ads.
Jesus: I’m being serious, Pino! You could have seriously gotten hurt! What were you thinking?
Pino: Probably the same thing you were thinking when you slit your wrists.
Jesus: What…?
Pino: Did you think I didn’t notice? I noticed… I ALWAYS notice.
Jesus: This is different.
Pino: Is it? How?
Jesus: I’m not going to talk about this right now.
Pino: Well when are we going to talk about it, Jesus?
Pino: When are you going to stop running away?
Jesus: You have no right to talk to me about running away after what you did tonight.
Pino: So you admit it? We’re the same.
Jesus: You don’t know what you’re talking about.
Pino: You don’t think anyone knows what they’re talking about! You don’t think anyone understands. Because you, a guy who cuts himself to distract from the pain of the bruises his girlfriend gives him, who he refuses to break up with because he “Loves her” and “She promised not to do it again” and he believes her every time because of his daddy issues, is so hard to understand.
Pino: I’m- I’m sorry I-
Jesus: Pino.
Pino: Oh God, I’ll clean it up. Ohmygg-
Jesus: Pino.
Pino: I’m sorry.
Jesus: Shh.
Pino: I couldn’t save her, I didn’t- She’s gone. She’s gone because I couldn’t.
Jesus- Shh shh It’s not your fault.
