Thank you all for reading this week and let me know how many bands we have in common! See you next week for my very last blog of the year!

My favorite portrayal of each Batman villain!

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog! Currently, I have watched the new Batman movie twice in theaters and three times on HBO Max. The hyper-fixation is still alive and breathing, so I figured I could make one more blog about something pertaining to Batman. Now, I am gonna go through some of the most popular Batman villains, and I will reveal my favorite portrayal of them, whether it be cinema, video game, or comic.

1. The Clown Prince of Crime (The Joker)

There are so many AMAZING portrayals of him, so I am just gonna put out my top four in a quick picture (in order of which I speak of them). Heath ledger was absolutely amazing and really embodied the character and characteristics of the Joker. The Joker from the HBO Max series Harley Quinn really embraces the comedic part of him as well as exposing the abusive aspect of his and Harley’s relationship. John Doe (Joker) from The Batman TellTale games really was fantastic. The game forces you to make choices that can be really hard, especially when you meet the Joker before he was the Joker, and personally, I had a strong urge to try and save him. He was just an excellent character overall. Finally, The Joker from the Arkham games was my top all-around Joker. He had everything, really. He was devastatingly cruel and funny at times, and the laugh was 100% accurate to what I always imagined it to be. His character design was also one of my favorites.

2. The Riddler

I’m very biased about my Riddler picks because these two always serve. The thing I loved the most about the Riddler in Gotham was that they didn’t just give us a backstory for him, they really showed us his emergence into villainy, and I really appreciated that. He also looks like the Riddler from the comics, tall, skinny, with dark hair and glasses. How he acts as the Riddler and Edward Nygma (his real identity) shows an impeccable balance of insanity with immense intelligence. On the other hand, Paul Dano’s Riddler from The Batman gave us a unique and much more physically brutal Riddler with a gripping motive. They also changed up the Riddler’s iconic costume, and honestly, I think it made him even more terrifying. Underneath the mask, we have Edward Nashton, which was the one thing I didn’t like. They changed his last name from E. Nygma to E. Nashton. In the comic book, his last name represents the word enigma, which is defined as a person or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand.

3. Bane

These two are absolutely the best and total opposites. First, we have the terrorist Bane from The Dark Knight Rises, who was “born in the darkness,” you might say. I really appreciated his portrayal because of his uniqueness of it. His mask was different, his backstory was different, and his relations with other villains were an interesting twist that I will not spoil. On the other hand, we have the (literal) most giant baby in the legion of doom: Bane from the HBO Max series Harley Quinn. I can’t even explain how fun he is to watch. He doesn’t have as much screen time as others, but somehow he still became my favorite character. I would like to also note that this Bane imitates Bane from The Dark Knight Rises‘s voice, and it’s so funny to me. The first time I knew I was gonna like his character was when at dinner. Bane was hurt when Joker stole his dinner, not liking his own. He got so pouty, and it just made me giggle.

4. Harley Quinn

THE girl boss herself: Harley Quinn. There’s one reason why I love these portrayals, and they all have it in common. They all break away from the Joker and create their own path and choices. For example, Harley Quinn from the Harley Quinn series on HBO goes through tremendous character development to finally realize that she is better on her own. Feminist queen. The first two Harleys up there both stick to villainy after the breakup, but the last one from Injustice joins Batman and helps him save the world many times.

5. Scarecrow

Scarecrow has always been one of the most interesting villains to me, and that is purely based on his villainy tactics. Scarecrow uses a fear toxin in the form of injections or gas. The toxin makes the victim hallucinate their worst fear and can lead them to heart attack or shock, making Scarecrow’s business go smoothly. So lets through these guys. Number one over there is from Batman Begins, and I think he did a fantastic job, and it was definitely different from what I had seen before. He’s also one of the only Scarecrows to take the mask on and off, and surprisingly I like him more without the mask; if you know what I mean wink wink. The next one is from the Arkham games, and he is up there based purely on performance and plot. His whole plan in the games was incredible, so I’m not spoiling it! Next up is from Harley Quinn again. I love this one a lot because he’s so goofy. He also has a British accent, and that just sold me. Lastly, we have the Scarecrow from Gotham. I think that he’s super cool because of the way they gave him a background and created a fantastic version of the hallucinations.

That’s all for this week! Thank you all for reading and I will see you again soon! <3

If Animal Crossing allowed more than ten villagers…

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog for this week! Today we are going to talk about some of the other villagers I would have on my island if I was allowed to have more than ten. To keep this short, I am only gonna list five. Beware: I have a bad tendency to create fake scenarios to make my villagers more interesting to me. It’s like a little soap opera.

1. Sherb

Sherb is a goat. Sherb is adorable. Sherb wears cute little sweater. I love Sherb. He’s just a cute little guy. I also think that decorating his house would be super fun considering his color scheme and all around vibe.

2. Kabuki

This is Kabuki and the coolest thing about this cat is that he is modeled after a Japanese kabuki mask. I think that he is pretty cool and he would be best buddies with the cat I already have on my island, Bob! If you wanna hear about him he’s in my other blog.

3. Stitches

LOOOOOOK at how cute he is. He is literally like a patchwork teddy bear that I always wanted when I was younger. I recently decorated his house on the DLC and he was so sweet about it. 10/10 Villager.

4. Vivian

The only reason I would get Vivian is so Kyle (my new wolf villager) can get his ego checked. I mean if I put their houses right next to each other it would become Cruel Intentions all over again. Jokes on them though, that’s one of my favorite movies.

5. Roscoe

This is another villager I would get just based off of another villager I have currently. The villager I speak of is Julian who is my very fruity unicorn if you know what I mean. He is bright blue and very bubbly, so I think Roscoe would be a cool juxtaposition. Also I really like the part in the song No Hands where Roscoe Dash sings/spells his name in a funky way.

Thank you all for reading this week! I hope you enjoyed and I will see you next week! <3

Weekend Movie Marathons With My Brother!

Hello and welcome back to my blog! This week I’ll be going over one of my newly favorited Tv series that I’ve watched with my brother Ethan. We have many marathons to watch DC or Star Wars or something. Anyways, lets get into it.

The most recent one we watched was last weekend and it was Peacemaker. It is easily one of the funniest DC projects to exist on streaming services. It stars JOHN CENA and one the biggest things it accomplishes is being able to cover many different themes and social issues while also being able to have a consistent storyline with interesting characters and comedic continuity. Below you can find the opening sequence. I strongly advise you to view. Thank you.

Anyways, I am so thankful for being able to watch all these projects and spend this time with my sibling, and I am so thankful to you all for reading and have a wonderful week. <3

Rating Emma’s top five male actors then and now.

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today we’re changing things up. Emma and I have decided to collaborate on our blogs for this week. I will be ranking her top five actors and she will be ranking mine. Without further ado…

BASED ON VIBES ALONE and most of these comments are jokes!!!!

5. Richard Gere

Her number five, my number two… but I think we can all agree that he just has timeless charm. I could talk about Dick here forever. I will make the sandwiches and I will clean the kitchens, just for him (laugh mom.) Julia Roberts is one lucky lady though, she’s in like two movies with him. He gives off good vibes too! I mean he doesn’t have perfect teeth. Who in Hollywood doesn’t have perfect teeth? The good ones. For example, Zendaya. Now, lets get to the rating.

Then: kicking my feet because I love you/10

Now: let me help you cross the street to your billionaire mansion because I love you/10

4. Colin Firth

From Bridget Jones’ Diary to What A Girl Wants, this guy has been the most proper and polite gentlemen to ever wander the silver screen. I can definitely see the appeal but I wouldn’t say that he’s my type. He does have a nice smile though.

Then: approachable teddy bear from England/10

Now: Those sweet Queen of England cheekbones/10

3. Harrison Ford

The wittiness of Han Solo and the charm of Indiana Jones? I think yes. I have to commend Emma right now because he is just a gem. He’s always been one of my favorite actors because he’s played some of my favorite characters, and he hasn’t been in much controversy so I am a-okay with this one.

Then: Han Solo/10

Now: Chewbacca (in a good way)/10

2. Kyle Maclachlan

Here we go… Emma just sat here for ten whole minutes trying to find a decent picture of this man. HE DATED LAURA DERN. He looks like he would listen to someone rap over classical music. Emma said he doesn’t need fixing so I guess we’ll roll with that. I am not a fan of beards, so he passes that test too. He looks intelligent as well, so we’re gonna roll with those vibes and say…

Then: Chandler Bing/10

Now: someone that still doesn’t need fixing/10

1. David Duchovny

EMMA HAS A CARDBOARD CUT OUT OF THIS MAN… and you know what? I approve of that message. He looks like he would be my moms favorite if she knows who he is. She might, I don’t know I never really asked. Anyways, he gives off pretty okay vibes.

Then: IS THAT LEONARDO DECAPRIO?!!/10

Now: I would avoid eye contact if I saw him at cracker barrel/10

Thank you all for reading this week! I hope you enjoyed it and I’ll see you next week. <3

Ranking the villagers on My Animal Crossing Island

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog! No more batman because my mom says I need to change it up. HERE WE ARE. We’re changing and shifting over to Animal Crossing! I have been playing this game since the summer of 2020 and have accumulated 245 hours or more. Today, we will be looking at my villagers and ranking them. I love them all so much, except for this one.

10. Sylvia

Sylvia is a kangaroo, if you couldn’t already tell. I don’t think she’s the prettiest villager, and her pineapple dress is horrid. Frankly, I don’t like kids either, so this was just a double no for me. I am looking to get rid of her soon, so if anyone in the animal crossing world wants her, please come and get her. I can’t do this anymore.

9. Aurora

Aurora is literally just a sweetie pie. I love her vibe. I love her house. I love most things about her, but she doesn’t stand out amongst the others. Also, SPOILER ALERT, I started my island with Roald, who is also a penguin, and now I am convinced that they’re a thing because I see them together all the time. I love it.

8. Octavian

Some people will go bonkers over his rating because Octopi are very rare in this game. If this were Marina or someone else, I probably would put him higher, but for now, here he is. I like how his face scrunches up, and he looks so grouchy. I am a grouch, so I love this grouch.

7. Julian

I absolutely hate putting him here because I’ve had him for such a long time. I am very much convinced he’s fruity, though. His nickname for me is sparkle guys. His zodiac-inspired home is also such a great addon to the vibe of my island. PLUS, HE IS A UNICORN.

6. Bob

This is bob. Bob is a cat. I love Bob. My favorite thing with bob is giving him a tuxedo and a pink sweater vest. He rocks it every time, so I will never stop. Literally, every time I go to the clothing store, I buy this guy something. He deserves the world. HIS CATCH PHRASE— it’s so cute. It’s “pthhpth” like he’s got hair in his mouth or something. He’s a goofy guy.

5. Pekoe

Pekoe is a bear cub who might be the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. When I walked into my campsite and saw her, my jaw dropped. I HAD to have her. I mean, just look at her. She is so sweet too! I like to give her pink clothes to make her even cuter.

4/3. Shep and Cherry

I refuse ever to separate these two. I love them both for so many different reasons, and I have made sure their houses are next to each other, just like Roald and Aurora. Don’t make this weird, guys. Shep is somewhat soft cottage core, and Cherry is the most emo thing I have ever seen. They are perfect for each other. Also, the more I look up pictures for these guys, the scarier it gets…

2. Roald

I know Roald might not look like much to you, but he has been with me since day one. He was my favorite starter villager, and I was lucky to get him too! He’s a jock type, so you can find him running around lifting dumbells and doing yoga to impress Aurora. He calls me “B-B-Buddy” like he’s shivering, and I think that that was just perfect for him.

1. Shino

Shino is the prettiest, sweetest, funniest, and most famous of my villagers. She is also the newest. I saw her reading a book under one of the cherry blossom trees the other day, and I took forty pictures. Everything about her is fantastic. I can see myself spending a lot of bells (money) on her in the future. I MEAN, LOOK AT HER. The little fangs are adorable.

Thank you for reading my blog this week and I hope to see you next week! <3

Similarities Between The Zodiac Killer and The Riddler in “The Batman”

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog. This will be the last Batman-related blog for a while. I know, sad, right? Yeah, me too. Anyways, I noticed a few things about the Riddler in the new Batman movie, so I wanted to point some things out! Let’s get right into it!

1. Uniform.

As you can see here, people who have encountered the Zodiac killer have said that he wore a black uniform with a white symbol on it. The Riddler wears a similar suit like the Zodiac, except his iconic green color and question mark insignia. The most similar part would have to be that they both wear a full face mask with glasses over the top of it.

2. Ciphers

Shown above are cipher given by both criminals. On the left is the Riddler and on the right is the Zodiac. The Riddler’s cipher is a bit more complicated looking but was easily solved. On the other hand, the Zodiac’s looks much more straightforward yet harder to solve. The Riddler in the movie also added his symbol at the end of his, but this was the only picture I could find.

3. Dialect

As shown in the picture above, the Zodiac starts his letters with “This is the Zodiac speaking.” On the other hand, whenever the Riddler speaks on his media, he starts with “This is the Riddler speaking.” So this similarity is more amongst the way the Riddler speaks on his little live broadcasts and video compared to the way the Zodiac killer writes his notes. This is one of my favorite details.

4. Cards

On the left is the Riddler’s first card shown in the movie, and on the right is the Zodiac killer’s actual card. They both exhibit signs of being handmade with similar themes. They were both sent to or were supposed to be for the police/authorities. Their wording was also creepily similar with the words “From your secret friend” and “From your secret pal.”

Thank you guys for reading this week! I’m glad I was able to show you this super cool little concept that I found so interesting! See you next week! <3

You guessed it! Batman again.

Hello and welcome back to my blog! I just got off a super lovely spring break and watched The Batman in theaters for the second time. It was just as good, if not even better, as the first time I watched it. Though, this time it had me thinking, you know? As I was watching, I noticed some remarkable aspects about his suit! So, now I will be ranking all my favorite batman suits! Enjoy.

10. Rainbow Batman

Personally, I don’t feel like I have to explain this one that much. I actually am very intrigued with the DARK Knight’s choice here. I think it’s funky and cool.

9. Lego Batman

This one is both my mom and Leo’s favorite! I actually really like the movies, but I also think the LEGO version of his suit is pretty cool. My favorite part would have to be the glowing eyes and the original yellow oval logo. *chefs kiss*

8. Batman Forever (Bat-Nipples)

Listen, George Clooney was a disgrace to the Batman cowl, but wow, is this a stupid hilarious suit. Like, who thought, “Hey… we’re missing something here… OH THE NIPPLES-.” Absolutely not. Please never do this again. It’s very discomforting to have to perceive.

7. The Dark Knight Rises

Christian Bale’s Batman was by far one of the greatest portrayals ever. On the other hand, the goatee style mouth part I am not a fan of. Christian Bale has a wonderful face, so why not at least give him a little more space to work with? This doesn’t take away from how amazing these movies were, I’m just saying you know?

6. Batman vs. Superman (The big boy)

MARTHHAAAA- no, I’m just kidding. Anyways, how can someone look at this and not think that this thing is cool as heck? With this suit, a human man could catch superman’s fist. We’re talking super strength, and laser beams from your eyes type stuff here. Superman is a Kryptonian, and this wealthy philanthropist playboy with many cool toys was able to catch his fist.

5. Batman: The Tell-Tale Series

Like I said earlier, I’m a big fan of the glow-ey eye thing they got going on here.  Also, in this game you get to choose the color of your tech which makes it so much cooler! I really like the symbol on the chest and the cool bracers he has on here. It seems kind of generic unless you play the games. PLAY THEM.

4. Arkham Knight

These games are argumentatively the best Batman games out there.  The grappling hook maneuvering was super cool, the technology and gadgets were very nice AND THE BELT. I love the belt a lot on this one.

3. Hello Kitty Batman

Honestly, do I even have to explain this one, either? (Thank you, Leo, for showing me this). I mean, look at the little bow and the whiskers. This thing is so adorable they even made an astonishing figure out of it. I would get it, but it is very much out of my price range.

2. The Batman 2022

Not only was the movie absolutely fantastic, but the suit was also one of the coolest I’ve seen for such a young batman. It also aches my heart because the logo was formed using the gun that killed his parents. What an edgelord. :/

1. Batman Beyond

THIS ONE IS SO COOL! I think that the red and the black really compliment each other, giving him a scarier theme. All black is scary, but the red symbolizes violence and mercilessness. If I were to walk into an alleyway and there was regular Batman at one end and Batman in the Batman Beyond suit on the other side, I would spring to the regular Batman.

The Batman: Movie Review

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog. This week has been very eventful! I went to the movie theaters on Friday and a baby shower on Saturday. We’re not here to talk about the baby shower, though. THE BATMAN MOVIE WAS SOOOOOO GOOD!

If you know me or have heard me talk about anything I have been writing recently, it has been Batman-themed. My brother indoctrinated me into the DC universe when I was young, and ever since then, I have absolutely loved it. So, my brother ordered tickets for us to go see The Batman on opening night. We went, and let me tell you that movie was terrific! The writers and directors made it seem unique but also familiar in a sense. Don’t get me started on the actor, though… I will start myself. Robert Pattinson did a spectacular job on this project. Even though he wasn’t my mom’s type, I sure didn’t mind looking at him.

Despite the actors and things like that, the movie itself was absolutely bonkers crazy. The soundtrack (including a song from Nirvana <3), the atmosphere, the plot, the riddles, and just everything else really tied it together for me. It was three hours long, but it felt like it was only one! I could hardly blink.

Anyways, since I’ve decided to keep spoilers out of this blog, I cannot say anything else. To make up for that, here is a picture:

(You can definitely see how excited I was here…)

Thank you for reading my blog this week! Keep an eye out for further developments and other blogs coming out soon! <3

The Best Batman Villains (In My Opinion)

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my blog! This week we’ll be going back to Batman and talking about the infamous villains instead of the sidekicks. Most if not all of these characters are terrible people who have done terrible things that are FICTIONAL. I would not condone any of these actions in a real-life setting. Anyways, let’s get right into the blog.

5. The Riddler

Personally, I don’t think he is one of the most dangerous. However, I think that he is one of the most entertaining to witness in action. His witty wording and his exciting traps that Batman has to figure out are some of my favorites. Another thing that I really like about The Riddler is that he usually has a funky voice in any media that he is in. Recently I have watched the animated movie Batman: Hush, in which the identity of Hush changed from the comics to Edward Nygma, also known as the Riddler. That whole plot made me have a new understanding and appreciation for The Riddler.

4. Bane

Bane, also known as the man who “broke the bat” or, more specifically, the bat’s spine, is one of the more physically challenging villains that Batman has to face. Some versions of Bane have venom as his primary power source, like in Batman and Robin, but in other movies like The Dark Knight Rises, he is just a powerful guy with a face mask needed to conceal some of the unbearable pain caused by the prisoners of the pit. I enjoy watching Bane on screen, whether venom or pure strength, making him so dangerous. His strength and usage of his environment make him a great challenger for Batman.

3. Scarecrow

Scarecrow has always been one of my favorite DC villains in general. I love the whole concept of his character, but some of my preferred portrayals of Dr. Johnathan Crane would have to be in the DC live-action series Gotham and the video game Batman: Arkham Knight. His power or weapon is a fear toxin that he can spray or inject into his victims, causing them to be bombarded by hallucinations of their worst fears. This either causes them to get literally scared to death, traumatized, or in some cases, if the victim can overcome their fear, it makes the victim stronger.

2. Catwoman

Catwoman is one of the more beloved and famous antagonists of Batman because sometimes she ISN’T an antagonist. Occasionally Catwoman, also known as Selina Kyle, is a love interest of Batman or Bruce Wayne, or both of them simultaneously. This relationship helps Batman in many situations, but it also hinders him in others. For example, if other villains find out that they are together or that Batman has feelings for her, they will use that against him. An example of this would be in the video game Batman: Arkham City, where Two-Face kidnaps Catwoman to lure Batman in to save her.

1. The Joker

The clown prince of crime couldn’t be in any other spot. The Joker is probably most DC fans’ favorite villain for many reasons. One, he is actually pretty funny sometimes. The Joker is the mix of everything a fantastic villain should have. For example, he is hilarious, has super interesting weapons, is actually intelligent when it comes to some things, has no mercy, and has a posse that will stand behind him no matter what. Even though he usually lacks much physical strength or chooses to use weapons instead, he can still get away with a lot of crimes without punishment.

Thank you guys for reading my blog this week! I hope you enjoyed and make sure to keep an eye out for next week’s edition! <3
