Blue Food.

Hello, welcome back to my blog. Once again, I have relatively nothing to write about so I’m just going to yap. After all that’s what you’re here for. So, I don’t really have a lot going on right now, I’m drinking a Monster Energy Drink. It’s Ultra Paradise and I have a bag of Sour Patch kids. I love sour patch kids, when I was younger, they were my favorites. I used to get the really big bags of them from the dollar general and take them to ballet with me. I know everyone’s favorite is blue, which is totally understandable, but me personally, I like the red and green better. Maybe people just like the blue sour patch because it’s blue, did anybody ever think about that? Is blue flavored food actually good, or is it good just because it’s blue?

I know a girl that loves blue, so she might have something to say about that, but it’s just something to think about. No but actually, think about blueberries. In my humble opinion blueberries are disgusting, and technically they are a blue food. So, is blue food even really good?  Sour patch kids went as far as to put out an entire bag of just the blue sour patch. How rude is that to all the other colors who I could argue are just as good. It’s the same problem with Jolly Ranchers; the blue jolly rancher gets all the hype when really the green one is probably the best in the bag. I think society has seriously molded us into believing that blue food is “better” when in actuality the food is just blue.

Rick Riordan has contributed to this problem. I used to be the biggest Percy Jackson fan ever, so I remember very clearly Percy’s obsession with blue food. Yes, I know it’s because he’s the son of Poseidon and blah blah blah, but in writing it that way Rick Riordan contributed to lying to an entire generation about the superiority of blue food. Blue food is not that great. This theory of mine really needs to be looked into because I know I am correct. Society has been lying to us! Society has brainwashed you all into believing blue is better, but blue is no better than red or green or even orange!

I am asking all of you reading to open your eyes and see the truth. All color food stands together, in unity, in equality, in justice. No color food over the other.

  1. This was so funny honestly, did not expect something about blue food to be so negative!! But I agree with you to a point, sone blue foods are just over hyped! Me personally, I’m a pink or orange food guy. Have you had an orange Fanta on a hot day? It’s heavenly, I tell you!

  2. May have to throw up hands in defense of Rick Riordan, but i DO understand you. Blue Jolly Ranchers may be my least favorite in the bag(not that they’re bad, just not my fav), and you’ll NEVER see me touch a grape jolly rancher. I think it’s a combination blue and purple food that i dont like, because blueberries are technically purple and really gross. NORMAL grapes are excused, though, because they’re usually red. I’m hopping on the hate train with you.
