font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Facade<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Flowers are supposed to smell sweet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">That is what I thought upon first inspection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">How could a flower be so beautiful,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Yet have such a pungent and foul smell?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Flowers have a reputation to uphold, you see.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">They must be <span style=\"color: #ff8000;\">Tangerine<\/span> with <span style=\"color: #ff99cc;\">Pink tones<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\"><span style=\"color: #ffff00;\">And a Yellow base.<\/span> They should be shaped like<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">A cup, ready to catch the compliments thrown to them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">They should be layered like a person,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Dark on the inside and bleached by the sun on the outside.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\"><span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\">Or Lavender with kisses<\/span> <span style=\"color: #800080;\">of Purple lining the bottom<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace; color: #ffff00;\">A Yellow belly, right in the center<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\"><span style=\"color: #ff2181;\">A Lilac Red clings to the tips,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Waiting to jump off.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Pollen swims in the center<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\"><span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\">Yellows<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Orange<\/span> couples dance in the sun.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace; color: #ffff99;\">Or a pastel Yellow flower that emits serenity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">It is so small in color yet big in character.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">It starts as a deep\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Yellow<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">and ends in an almost White color.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">There is no deeper layer to this flower,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Much like the person looking at it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">The edges are ruffled like the hair of a child,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">After their father messes it up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace; color: #ff5e29;\">There are spots of an electric Orange,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Splattering across the lips of the bud.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Beneath these bitter smelling flowers are rocks and dirt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Perhaps they\u2019d smell more like real flowers,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">If they came from a softer background.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">The poisonous ants crawl around,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Waiting for something to bite.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Vines stem from these flowers too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Their umbilical cords are a deep Purple,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace; color: #008000;\">With Green lines going along with them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">They have leaves and flowers sprouting from them on every inch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">The small garden is surrounded with concrete,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Worn down and chipped on the edges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">From students sitting and looking at the flowers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace; color: #ff6600;\">The rocks that are sprinkled in are various shades of Browns and Oranges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\"><span style=\"color: #00ffff;\">The Turquoise paint is cracked and mostly missing.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">The ants crawl there, too. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Facade &nbsp;
