This Poem means a lot to me and I&#8217;m actually really proud of it. I hope you all enjoy. I haven&#8217;t really figured out the title yet, so the title of the blog &#8220;A Dance To Remember&#8221; is going to be my cliche temporary title. If you have any ideas, feel free to let me know.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m a little terrified. I must admit.<br \/>\nStay still, let me take a photograph of this.<\/p>\n<p>Kiss me like you mean it one last time.<br \/>\nI just fixed my make-up, don&#8217;t make me cry.<\/p>\n<p>Pull away and hold me close.<br \/>\nLet&#8217;s dance the only way we know.<\/p>\n<p>Spin me around, dip me down to the floor.<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t want to love you anymore.<\/p>\n<p>My heart is breaking at your every touch.<br \/>\nI can\u2019t help but wonder how you do this so much.<\/p>\n<p>All eyes are on me, can they smell my fear ?<br \/>\nYou call me beautiful as you lose hold of a tear.<\/p>\n<p>I trail my fingers down your fair skin<br \/>\nKnowing with a sick feeling that I will never touch it again.<\/p>\n<p>You ask me what\u2019s wrong and I say I\u2019m fine.<br \/>\nI\u2019m dying to have one last good night.<\/p>\n<p>History dances circles around us like secrets and sin.<br \/>\nWe laugh under our breath, whispering \u201cremember when..\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Those were the days that aren&#8217;t now.<br \/>\nOur laugh are too quiet, our screams too loud.<\/p>\n<p>I watch and think about what you will do<br \/>\nWhen I kiss someone else and love someone new.<\/p>\n<p>I can hear your accusation like static in my head.<br \/>\nAll of it are things that have previously been said.<\/p>\n<p>You will find a way to hurt me again, I\u2019m sure.<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t believe your intentions have ever been pure.<\/p>\n<p>So much time has passed yet nothing has changed.<br \/>\nMaybe it\u2019s time I turned another page.<\/p>\n<p>We both knew this wasn&#8217;t forever, no matter how much we claimed<br \/>\nI\u2019m scared if we continue, we will drive each other insane.<\/p>\n<p>But, for now let\u2019s dance and love for the last time.<br \/>\nTomorrow, my Darling, I will say good-bye.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lately I&#8217;ve been wanting to find my rhyming voice again, so I wrote this.
