I saw a llama out in public this past weekend, and it made me very happy. Soothed my soul. <\/p>\n

Also, be blessed by these absolute DIVAS:<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’re called Nicobar pigeons and are native to Southeast Asia. They are also the closest living relative of the dodo, and they consume small rocks \ud83d\ude00 ARGHGHGHGHJDGIOUIREUERVHSD I love them so much they’re such stupendous little masterpieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now since I have nothing better to write, here’s more random poetry<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Castle in the sky<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wish to stand atop your frozen hawk<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What made you crumble so<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why don\u2019t you<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soar free<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any longer?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chambers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

with nothing but prideful shadows<\/p>\n\n\n\n

beckon inside<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But you are already enchanted<\/p>\n\n\n\n

all those<\/p>\n\n\n\n

pastel vortexes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

twist you up<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But you are at ease<\/p>\n\n\n\n

with your winding fate<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Did its grandeur distract you from<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every illusion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On your way up<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did your feathers melt away <\/p>\n\n\n\n

before they could sustain you any longer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you let them go willingly <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you miss them<\/p>\n\n\n\n

or do you prefer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

feeling the wind <\/p>\n\n\n\n

against your bare burnt body<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It soothes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It slices<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are ashen<\/p>\n\n\n\n

glowing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but ashen<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

 <\/p>\n

\u2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

You fall<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to the bottom of the ocean<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instantly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

dispersing <\/p>\n\n\n\n

with the fleeing waves<\/p>\n\n\n\n

until there is nothing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but stillness<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No more attempts at<\/p>\n\n\n\n

characterizing the void<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Spin me in your webs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of twilight wonder<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mold my frame into something I\u2019d be proud of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let me learn how to trust my own tools<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scrape away at myself<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chip chip chip<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crack crack crack<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is that why<\/p>\n\n\n\n

you hid them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You were tired<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of cleaning up<\/p>\n\n\n\n

after me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My stubbornness<\/p>\n\n\n\n

refusing to lend<\/p>\n\n\n\n

you an ear<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obstinate decisions <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unwilling choices<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Decisive actions<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

 <\/p>\n

\u2666<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Foreign dreams<\/p>\n\n\n\n

offer me a tawdry future<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want no part of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I want the dreams<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to know what made them want to gift me that<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What made them search me out<\/p>\n\n\n\n

find me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and reach their tender claws out<\/p>\n\n\n\n

grab a hold of me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

make themselves noticeable<\/p>\n\n\n\n

implant those shrill memories<\/p>\n\n\n\n

back in me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After I went through all that<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to forget<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dissociate my consciousness <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bring me back to the volatile stars<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want the dreams so badly<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u03b6<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Spirit tongues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

charm me<\/p>\n\n\n\n

with their <\/p>\n\n\n\n

zany muttering<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I miss holding them<\/p>\n\n\n\n

in my makeshift palms<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pulling at them<\/p>\n\n\n\n

tugging<\/p>\n\n\n\n

biting them off<\/p>\n\n\n\n

just to have a morsel<\/p>\n\n\n\n

of what they taste<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words don\u2019t give them justice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

so I had to give it to them myself<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now there\u2019s nothing more<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have to say<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
