For my first post I figured that I’d tell whoever is reading this a bit about myself.

To start, my name is Lela Reed. I’m sixteen years old. I was born on June 23rd, making me a cancer if you’re into astrology. I grew up in Natchez Mississippi, only about an hour away from Brookhaven. I’ve been to four different schools (including MSA). Before coming to MSA I’d only been to parochial schools. *A parochial school is religious school. I was also a dancer before MSA, I had done ballet since I was three. Twelve years later and I still suck at it, but ballet did make me a big fan of The Nutcracker and Swan Lake.

In my bio I mentioned that I have a myriad of different interests which is true. A few are: shopping, makeup, writing (obviously), reading, traveling, musicals, late 90s and early 2000s shows, story-based video games. The list goes on and on.

Another interest of mine is animals. I love animals of all different species. It doesn’t matter if the animal is a mammal or if the animal is a reptile. I love them all equally. I have a dog and two cats, three if you count the one I accidentally kidnapped. Anyways my dog’s name is Beaux, pronounced “Bow”, and my cats’ names are Roses and Twister. Roses is named Roses because she was found outside of a store called Roses, and Twister is named Twister because of a drink. Twister is an outside cat; she loves to be out in the sun roaming around and doing her own thing. I would like to have a few more pets, like maybe a few more cats and a snake.

On the contrary, something I hate is AI, artificial intelligence. It doesn’t matter if it’s Grok or ChatGPT, I don’t like AI. I’ll be talking about why I don’t like AI in a future post, maybe. I just feel like it’s kind of obvious why I don’t like AI, I go to an arts school…

Moving on, most of my blog posts will most likely consist of whatever’s on my mind at the moment. I could post about climate change, Bora Bora, an ancient civilization, the Uncharted video games, Harry Potter, etc.

To close out if you got this far thank you for reading my blog, and hopefully you’ll want to read whatever I have to say next Wednesday.

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog.
