\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Hello lovelies, for this post I\u2019m doing something different.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>I\u2019m going to try to convince you to play this IOS, and Android game I became addicted to.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>To start off, I didn\u2019t find this game out myself, a best friend of mine from my former school put me on this game during the Summer.\u00a0 I was hesitant at first because it looked like one of those games that could hack my phone (which it didn\u2019t so don\u2019t say no yet) and the description was creepy.\u00a0 \u00a0 Also, she texted me about the game out of the blue (meaning she hadn\u2019t texted me in 3 days) while I was about to go to bed.\u00a0 She said:\u00a0 Hey!\u00a0 I need you to play Elmwood Trail right now. \u00a0 It\u2019s about you solving a case and it\u2019s crazy.\u00a0<\/span>So that right there is what caught my attention, but when I looked it up and read the summary I texted back: I don\u2019t know this is looking too realistic.\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Which to me now is a great thing, and I know I\u2019m writing statements that contradict my statement but trust me after downloading this game all of my doubts went down the drain and I became obsessed.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So now let me tell you about the interactive game, <\/span>The Elmwood Trail<\/b><\/p>\n

Elmwood trail has the best elements (to me) for a good interactive game.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For all of those who love interactive games, this is for you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For all of those who love mystery, horror, and suspense games, this is for you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For all of those who ever wanted to go through someone’s phone like an FBI agent (I do not mean going through real-life people\u2019s phone without consent) and find unexpected secrets, this is for you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For all of those who ever wanted to be a cop or FBI agent and crack a cold case, this game is FOR YOU.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, one interesting thing is, you can call actual numbers and text people that will respond, but I\u2019m pretty sure it\u2019s set up like a call operator so it\u2019s not dangerous.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s been 3 weeks since 18-year-old girl Zoey Leornard has been missing. \u00a0 After finding little evidence the detectives on the case have closed the case and declared it a runaway situation.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>Everyone decides that they tried their best and she can\u2019t be found, well everyone except YOU.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You are playing as detective Adam Lane, someone who feels like Riverstone Town is miserable.\u00a0 People keep going \u201cmissing\u201d and everyone else is giving up on them.\u00a0 Yep! You too were about to give up on Zoey\u2019s case until a unanimous message text you, forcing you to take on Zoey\u2019s case.\u00a0 \u00a0 You\u2019re hesitant, you know you can\u2019t right now because the messages from your own phone indicate that you have too much drama going on in your life.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 This is what you explain to the unknown messenger, but they don\u2019t care.\u00a0 What the messenger does care about is finding out what happened to Zoey so to make that happen they give an offer they know you wouldn\u2019t refuse.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After all of the introductions you do some research on Zoey, but you can\u2019t get far without any specific evidence.\u00a0 So, when you\u2019re about to tell the unknown messenger that you give up, they decide to send you a \u201cgift.\u201d\u00a0 Shockingly, it\u2019s Zoey\u2019s phone.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>You know it\u2019s crazy that some unknown person knows your address and has a missing girl\u2019s phone, but you can\u2019t question it when you\u2019re in too deep. <\/span>\u00a0The only thing you can question is everyone that knows Zoey\u2019s lies, truths, and what could be her secrets.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \"\"<\/p>\n

There are necessary puzzles in this game that build the spooky atmosphere.\u00a0 I\u2019m a fan of puzzles and I loved these because they weren\u2019t too hard. \u00a0 You get to read everything on Zoey\u2019s phone and Adam\u2019s phone.\u00a0 Reading is a ton of fun because like a real teenager’s phone there are so many contacts, and you can text all of them.\u00a0 Some people you can call and ask them questions when the time is right. \u00a0 Zoey and her friends have their own Instagram which is set up like actual Instagram which makes it feel so realistic.\u00a0 The people themselves look drawn but it doesn’t take away from the spooky feeling.\u00a0 It actually makes me feel better knowing the people aren\u2019t real.\u00a0 The background music gives you chills in a good way.\u00a0 It actually provides that feeling like you’re a detective on a TV show.\u00a0 The dialogue of the suspects and the way they text and speak are so emotional.\u00a0 \u00a0They don\u2019t sound like robots rehearsing a speech, they read in an actual modern teenage manner.\u00a0 Their reactions are our everyday reactions.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To me the storyline is engaging; you won\u2019t be confused of who\u2019s speaking or who they\u2019re talking about.\u00a0 <\/span>A good part is for some scenes you get to be in the narration from Zoey\u2019s point of view.\u00a0 \u00a0Her view is supposed to explain to you her thoughts outside of the text messages between her friends and also let you in on the secrets she has.\u00a0 But then some twists make you wonder if you can even trust Zoey yourself.\u00a0 Is she telling the truth of what actually happened?\u00a0 \u00a0 Did she actually run away? \u00a0 You don\u2019t know.\u00a0 \u00a0There are so many questions that will leave you on a cliff that I ended up playing this one sitting.\u00a0 Especially when you\u2019re trying to figure out what\u2019s with Adam\u2019s life drama?\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>Then your main question would be:\u00a0 How do you know you didn\u2019t take Zoey?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For the technical aspects of the game, the graphics are clear and pretty.\u00a0 The way you can transfer between Adam\u2019s and Zoey\u2019s phone is not complicated.\u00a0 \u00a0 All of the messages are responded to quickly (when they’re supposed to).\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Most importantly, There\u2019s NO WAIT. \u00a0 You don\u2019t have to wait for time to be added back or wait 3 hours to play the next part.\u00a0 You can read this game like a good book where no one can stop you (which I did.)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span>Overall, I love this game.\u00a0 They\u2019re still updating though and if you follow the creators on Instagram they post when it\u2019s updated.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Thanks for reading this, Good Day to You.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
