{"id":1683,"date":"2017-11-16T08:43:19","date_gmt":"2017-11-16T14:43:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.msabrookhaven.org\/literary\/?p=1683"},"modified":"2017-11-16T08:43:19","modified_gmt":"2017-11-16T14:43:19","slug":"ten-i-see","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.msabrookhaven.org\/literary\/2017\/11\/16\/ten-i-see\/","title":{"rendered":"Ten-I-See"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I was thinking about running for president.\u00a0 But I&#8217;ll only have one platform: Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>We should basically just quarantine Tennessee.\u00a0 The only real worthwhile contribution the state has ever made that is even scraping subpar is the pick-up line.\u00a0 But basically, we section it off, and then we make everything in Tennessee $10.\u00a0 Absolutely everything.<\/p>\n<p>Think about it.\u00a0 It kind of balances out.<\/p>\n<p>Houses? $10.\u00a0 (But you can only have ten.)<\/p>\n<p>Any sort of food? $10.<\/p>\n<p>Medical operations? $10.<\/p>\n<p>Price of gas per gallon? $10.<\/p>\n<p>I say we quarantine it and see if it works.\u00a0 And if it doesn&#8217;t work, Tennessee burns in anarchy, and we just let them go at it, you know?\u00a0 Like let them set up their own government if they want to, whatever.\u00a0 It will probably take them a while to figure out that the government is coming to stop anyone.<\/p>\n<p>Why isn&#8217;t the government going to intervene?\u00a0 Because no one can go in or out of Tennessee.\u00a0 You don&#8217;t want them buying things for other than $10 or people giving them stuff or them buying things for other people.<\/p>\n<p>Also, there are only 10 dollar bills.\u00a0 I say that it will work better than any trickle-down economic theory.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, it will be pretty neat to have a new joke for Tennessee that isn&#8217;t a pickup line.<br \/>\n&#8220;What kind of dollar bills do you have?&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;The only dollar bill is the ten-I-see.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Amazing, right?\u00a0 Then Tennessee isn&#8217;t completely worthless.\u00a0 Granted, Mississippi is going to have to find a new &#8220;vacation spot&#8221; that isn&#8217;t basically Mississippi.\u00a0 They&#8217;ll have to, I don&#8217;t know, actually go somewhere new and experience new things instead of going to Tennessee just for the sake of saying you went somewhere.<\/p>\n<p>The armpit of the country will turn into a frick frack amazing social economic theory war zone.\u00a0 How cool is that?<\/p>\n<p>I mean, you&#8217;d have to weigh the cons and pros of living there.\u00a0 Everything is only $10, but so are inexpensive things.\u00a0 There&#8217;s also a lot of anarchy, which I count as a major plus.<\/p>\n<p>I would volunteer Mississippi to be the guinea pig, just because it&#8217;s a terrible state, but the whole point to sectioning off Tennessee is the same.<\/p>\n<p>Then again, maybe we can start making some six dollar bills for Mis-six-ippi.\u00a0 At least then we&#8217;d get something other than some annoying song.<\/p>\n<p>And that is why you should vote for Z Money as president.<\/p>\n<p>(I would go contact my senator and tell them my amazing idea, but I think they&#8217;d steal it.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I was thinking about running for president.\u00a0 But I&#8217;ll only have one platform: Tennessee.
