As a person who loves to give names and personalities to almost every thing I own, I have quite a few that I could mention, but I will just stick to mentioning the main ones.

The first object that I somehow formed an emotional attachment to is a slice of a walnut shell that I found while walking on campus one day. A few friends and I were heading to get pizza when I saw it on the sidewalk. The day I found the walnut shell was a day in which my anxiety was particularly high, so when I found it, I used it as a sort of grounding tool. I held it in my hand the whole walk to get pizza and back, and now, I keep it to remind myself to not be so caught up in my head that I forget that there are small pieces of the world waiting to be found.

Upon further research (aka MSA word of mouth), I found out that the slice of walnut shell was from a coaster of some sorts that fell apart. Even after finding out the uneventful past of the walnut shell, I still think it is one of the coolest things I have because I found it when I really needed it.

Anyways, here is a picture of Wallace the Walnut Shell:

I figured for the first installment of this blog, I should begin with my own lifeless sentimental attachments.
