{"id":11166,"date":"2021-01-28T14:32:31","date_gmt":"2021-01-28T20:32:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.msabrookhaven.org\/literary\/?p=11166"},"modified":"2021-01-28T14:32:34","modified_gmt":"2021-01-28T20:32:34","slug":"new-schedule-big-dumb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.msabrookhaven.org\/literary\/2021\/01\/28\/new-schedule-big-dumb\/","title":{"rendered":"New Schedule Big Dumb"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I don&#8217;t really like my new schedule.\u00a0 I have two hard classes and I have another class 4th block so I can&#8217;t go to practice.\u00a0 One of my teachers is a bit &#8220;work-happy&#8221;&#8211; giving out huge packets and won&#8217;t even let us use the bathroom.<\/p>\n<p>Also, we&#8217;re doing jumpstart, an ACT prep program, right after school gets out, which is going to fry my brain like a toaster.\u00a0 How am I gonna learn anything when my brain is already really tired from the school day, and then go and do all my homework after that? Ugh.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In short, I&#8217;m dropping out of school and becoming a cat.\u00a0 (For legal reasons that&#8217;s a joke.)<\/p>\n<p>Not being able to play basketball and having a much more stressful schedule is having a negative effect on my mental health.\u00a0 I also have been having really bad sinus pressure which gives me more migraine attacks.\u00a0 My stress and anxiety have also been not happy.<\/p>\n<p>I want my old schedule back.<\/p>\n<p>I know it is not reasonable to never have hard classes, but multiple of those with no stress outlet is very just, hard on me.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yesterday I went to get some shots up.\u00a0 Being the only one practicing in the gym was very strange and pretty unnerving.\u00a0 Also the boys coaches kept watching me at first and it gave me much anxiety.\u00a0 There was also this boy outside who probably thought I was stupid by going to practice at the wrong time.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An hour of that, my shot was actually really good, considering I haven\u2019t gotten to shoot in like a week because of my new schedule.\u00a0 Also, the basketball goals at MSA are both busted.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019ve been pretty stressed, depressed, lemon zest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I finally had the motivation to wash clothes yesterday, which was nice.\u00a0 Never got to folding them though.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, I\u2019m not looking forward to doing work from dawn to dusk.\u00a0 Not exactly my thing.\u00a0 I can\u2019t stay focused that long, my brain will legit turn into swiss cheese.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the positive side I learned how to make recycled paper and plan on trying it out as soon as my tool comes in for it.\u00a0 At least that sounds like fun.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t really like my new schedule.\u00a0 I have two hard classes and I have another class 4th block so I can&#8217;t go to practice.\u00a0 One of my teachers is a bit &#8220;work-happy&#8221;&#8211; giving out huge packets and won&#8217;t even let us use the bathroom.
